        Rob, I know this has been coming up this week online and I agree it should be gone but this article is from APR 20, 2014.
        I think this whole thing just started to help the farmers and it has not done that either. Time to get back to regular gas.

          Yeah I agree but not seeing an end to ethanol anytime soon due to the politics involved. Politics in = common sense out.

              Just wait til E-15 is the norm. Most engine manufacturers have no idea how their engine will perform with that junk. Hopefully it doesn't get to that point

                  Please delete if too political.

                  Unfortunately, ethanol is not going away.

                  Senators Grassley (R) and Ernst (R) from Iowa told Trump-appointed EPA chief Pruitt that they will stop future EPA appointments if the RFS (the law that mandates ethanol) is reduced or eliminated. Pruitt caved. With only 52 seats (soon to be 51), each republican senator can and will demand whatever their special interests want in order to pass any bills. Politics as usual. Lobbyists win.
